Private tutor in Brunswick, ME
I was an honor roll student as an English major at Tufts University, Medford, MA. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in 1968 and my Master of Science in Education in 1970. I taught high school and college English and study skills, and now I'm retired from classroom teaching and tutor exclusively.
My classroom teaching was in South Windsor, Farmington, and Hartford, CT and in Brunswick, Maine, with ESL and learning disabled students, in grammar, literature, study skills, reading and writing. I've also prepared students for the English part of the GED and verbal sections of the SAT.

I have 3 volunteer jobs: I lead a crew of gardeners who weed, plant, and prune on the grounds of the Maine Maritime Museum; I grade papers for College Guild, which offers free correspondence courses; and I interview applicants to Tufts University. I've owned dogs for many years and take them for long walks on trails through the woods. I like to read mystery novels and articles about current events.
